Dr. Thomas Lindner has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of flatexDEGIRO SE and flatexDEGIRO Bank SE since October 2026. He has many years of experience in the fintech industry as well as in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and holds a doctorate with a specialization in the application of Artificial Intelligence in accounting. In addition, Thomas Lindner is a Qualified Supervisory Board Member, certified by Deutsche Börse AG.
Thomas Lindner began his career at flatexDEGIRO and its predecessor companies in 2012. He has been responsible for Group Finance since March 2021, serving as General Representative of flatexDEGIRO SE since November 2021 and as General Representative of flatexDEGIRO Bank SE since August 2023. Thomas Lindner has led several major projects across flatexDEGIRO, including the first adoption of IFRS and the implementation and upgrade of cloud ERP systems. Most notably, he played a key role in the post-merger integration of the finance functions of XCOM (2015) and DEGIRO B.V. (2021).
Previously, Thomas Lindner worked for Neue Dorint GmbH in Cologne from 2007 to 2011, where he was responsible for the establishment and expansion of the finance department as well as the integration of domestic and foreign operating facilities as a project manager for finance.
