Management Board

Oliver Behrens has been CEO of flatexDEGIRO AG and flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since October 2024. He has more than 40 years of professional experience in the financial services industry and has worked for German and American private banks as well as in the savings bank sector. He is currently also President of the Frankfurt Main Finance financial center initiative.

Before joining flatexDEGIRO, Oliver worked for Morgan Stanley in Germany and the UK for around 10 years, where he was CEO of all German operating subsidiaries and a member of the Board of Directors of Morgan Stanley International Limited in London. Prior to that, he worked for Deka-Bank for nine years, most recently as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors with responsibility for capital market and trading operations.

Oliver began his professional career at Deutsche Bank, where he held management positions in Luxembourg and Singapore, among other roles. Until his departure in 2005, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Asset Management Investmentgesellschaft and Deutsche Asset Management International, as well as managing director of DWS Finanz-Service GmbH.

Dr. Benon Janos has been CFO of flatexDEGIRO AG since 2023 and was appointed Deputy CEO in October 2024. He has been CFO of the banking subsidiary flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since 2021. He has many years of experience in the fintech industry and also worked for almost 15 years in various securities trading roles at the investment bank Goldman Sachs.

Benon joined flatexDEGIRO and its predecessor companies in 2016. At that time, he became Head of Business Customers and IT and was later responsible for the B2C end customer business, including the European internationalization strategy. He was also managing director of several subsidiaries, including the brokerage platform ViTrade for professional traders.

Prior to that, Benon Janos worked for Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt from 2001 to 2014. There, he held various positions in securities trading. Most recently, he was Managing Director in the Securities Department and headed equity sales in Germany and Austria. He was also Managing Director of the subsidiary Goldman, Sachs & Co. Wertpapier GmbH.

Christiane Strubel has been a member of the Management Board of flatexDEGIRO AG since January 2024 and, as Chief HR Officer, is responsible for human resources. She has also been a member of the Management Board of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since November 2025. Christiane Strubel has been working in human resources for more than 15 years and has held management positions with international responsibility in various industries.

Christiane has been head of human resources at flatexDEGIRO and its predecessor companies since 2016. Following the acquisition of DEGIRO in 2020, she has held this responsibility for the entire group worldwide, most recently as General Representative.

Before joining flatexDEGIRO, Christiane Strubel was head of human resources at the creative agency Razorfish, which is part of Publicis, the world's largest advertising and PR agency. Prior to that, she worked in human resources at the business travel agency Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where she was deputy head of human resources for Germany and Austria.

Jens Möbitz has been a member of the Management Board of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since 2023. As COO, he is responsible for banking operations and IT. Since 2025, he has also been general representative of the parent company flatexDEGIRO AG. Focussing on securities trading, he has been working in the financial industry for around 25 years.

Jens has been responsible for the operational business areas of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since 2016. Prior to that, he worked for the predecessor companies biw Bank and Die Aktionärsbank Kulmbach, as well as for the provider of e-banking and trading solutions XCOM, which was the owner of biw Bank at the time.

Jens trained as a banker and then worked for several years as a portfolio manager for Deutsche Bank and Schnigge Vermögenverwaltung.

Evgeni Kaplun has been a member of the Management Board of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since June 2025 and, as Chief Risk Officer, is responsible for monitoring and managing all types of risk at the bank. He has many years of experience in risk management at banks and has also advised banks on various aspects of risk management.

Evgeni has been working for flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since 2023. He was initially responsible for managing financial and non-financial risks as Division Head Risk Control and later, as General Representative, managed cross-divisional and cross-departmental processes and tasks within the risk function.

Before joining flatexDEGIRO Bank, Evgeni worked for several years in the risk organizations of VTB Bank (Europe) SE and DZ Bank AG. At VTB Bank, he was most recently responsible for the entire risk area and was Deputy CRO. Prior to that, he worked as a manager at KPMG AG, advising banks on risk management in the context of national and international projects.
