Oliver Behrens has been CEO of flatexDEGIRO AG and flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since October 2024. He has more than 40 years of professional experience in the financial services industry and has worked for German and American private banks as well as in the savings bank sector. He is currently also President of the Frankfurt Main Finance financial center initiative.
Before joining flatexDEGIRO, Oliver worked for Morgan Stanley in Germany and the UK for around 10 years, where he was CEO of all German operating subsidiaries and a member of the Board of Directors of Morgan Stanley International Limited in London. Prior to that, he worked
for Deka-Bank for nine years, most recently as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors with responsibility for capital market and trading operations.
Oliver began his professional career at Deutsche Bank, where he held management positions in Luxembourg and Singapore, among other roles. Until his departure in 2005, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Asset Management Investmentgesellschaft and Deutsche Asset Management International, as well as managing director of DWS Finanz-Service GmbH.
